Old Park House
Castlemagarret Park Old
Claremorris
Co. Mayo
F12CR60
Description
The house sits off a minor road which leads off the N17 Galway to Sligo road and the land once formed part of the Castlemagarrett estate. It is situated 4km from Ballindine, 5km from Claremorris and just 32km from Ireland West Airport Knock via the N17. The river Robe runs down the back of the house with the golf course just across the road.
A pebbled driveway leads into the house which lies hidden from the road by the mature trees which are dotted around the perimetre of the site. There are large lawned gardens surrounding the house as well as a carport to the side. The overall site area is approximately 0.5 acres.
There is a side access to the house from the carport but the main door leads into a reception which feeds into the main living area off the house. The lounge area has large floor-to-ceiling windows and a patio door that leads out to a covered terrace with its own external open fire.
Houses like this with mature grounds, close to town rarely come to the market. There is plenty of room to extend this home and with some modernisation, this would make a great family home. Contact us today to arrange your viewing.
