Gerard Hanley MIPAV REV MMCEPI

Gerard has over 20 years’ experience in valuing and selling property in the Connacht region.  Gerard graduated from the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology in 1999 with a degree in marketing and went on to obtain a Level 6 qualification in Auctioneering & Estate Agency.  Gerard was one of the first people in the country to achieve “Recognised European Valuer” (REV) status in 2018, providing all his valuations are carried out in line with the highest European standards.

He took McGarry & Hanley in 2001, the family business which his Father Arthur started in the 1960’s.  He joined the Sherry FitzGerald network in 2018 and in 2021, opened a second office in Swinford, taking over the two long established businesses of Joe Mellett and Matt Duggan.
