46 North Circular Road was built in 1895 and is one of three similar properties which are distinctive due to their tudor style paneling on the façade. The North Circular Road is an important thoroughfare on the northside of Dublin. The regional road was long considered the northern boundary of the city and still separates the city centre from the inner suburbs.
