LOCATION
Corduff House Stud and Farm is located in the village of Coolcarrigan which is located some 16 km from the boutique town of Naas. With a population of around 20,700 Naas and being some 32 km / 20 miles from Dublin, Naas is a major commuter suburb, with many people residing there and working in Dublin. The nearby N7 Naas Dual Carriageway connects Naas with Dublin and the M50 Motorway. The M7 Motorway connects Naas with the South and South West of Ireland. Coill Dubh is a town in northern Kildare, at the junction of the R403 and R408 regional roads, about 40 km (25 mi) from Dublin. The village is home to one of the strongest hurling clubs in County Kildare. The cutover area of Timahoe Bog which formerly supplied sod peat to Allenwood power station has been allowed to recolonise naturally for 20 years. It has become a focal point for naturalists and academics.
