In 1886 when this outstanding terrace was being built, the world was a different place! Vancouver, British Columbia was incorporated as a city, the first Coca-Cola is sold (it contains cocaine) and in Germany Karl Benz drives the very first car at a top speed of 16km/h. In the USA, the Apache Chief Geronimo surrenders which brings to an end the last major US Indian war. Closer top home in June 1886, the first Home Rule Bill for Ireland was defeated in the House of Common.

Terraced two-bay two-storey former house with dormer attic, built c. 1886, as part of a group of twenty with the adjoining houses to the north and south. Pitched slate roof having red brick chimneystack and pair of gabled dormer windows with timber bargeboards. Red brick walls with ashlar limestone string course and terracotta dressings to openings. Segmental-arched window openings having timber sliding sash windows and limestone sills. Replacement windows to dormers. Round-headed door opening with timber panelled door and fanlight. Dressed limestone boundary walls having ashlar copings, cast-iron gate and cast-iron railings.
