It is situated just off the boundary between Co. Waterford and Co. Kilkenny and is adjacent to the river Suir. The land is bounded by land to the north, old train tracks to the west, residential units to the east and Signa Care Nursing Home and grounds to the South. The general area includes a mix of school, church, retail, dwelling houses, supermarket and a purpose built shopping centre (unoccupied). This site of land will benefit from being in close proximity to the new Waterford North Quays Development, along the R711. The North quays development will also feature an extension to the Waterford Greenway.
