Ballyegan Gate Lodge was built in the mid-19th Century and has been delicately restored retaining many of its period features and architectural form.
It is so impressive from the restored piers, gates, and wrought iron railings, to the charm of the perfect original design.
The high gables and Oriel window make it immediately distinguishable, coupled with its Victorian design.
The restoration of the lodge itself was an extensive project some years ago, and in addition the property has been sympathetically extended with a new sitting room, kitchen & bathroom, creating a wonderful merging of classic features with modern style and convenience.

Roscrea (Irish: Ros Cré) is a market town in County Tipperary. In 2011 the town had a population of 5,403. Its main industries include meat processing and pharmaceuticals. Roscrae lies at the crossroads of the M7 motorway between Dublin and Limerick and the N62 between Athlone and Horse and Jockey. It is well connected by bus routes. Route 12 connects Dublin and Limerick and connections are available hourly. Roscrea railway station is on the Limerick–Ballybrophy railway line. At Ballybrophy it joins the main Cork-Dublin line.
