Sherry FitzGerald Supports Darkness Into Light 2026 Across Nationwide Network

Sherry FitzGerald is pleased to once again support the annual Darkness Into Light event, with teams across the country taking part on Saturday, May 9th, joining thousands of people nationwide to raise vital funds for Pieta’s suicide and self-harm prevention services. 

Following the strong engagement and positive experience across our network last year, colleagues nationwide are stepping forward once again in support of Pieta and the essential work they do.

This year’s event will take place in the early hours of Saturday, 9th May. Pieta’s Darkness Into Light is a powerful symbol of hope, bringing communities together in a shared commitment to support those impacted by suicide and self-harm.

Across Ireland, over 80 Sherry FitzGerald offices have signed up to take part. In the two weeks leading up to the event, participating offices will act as official t-shirt collection points. Registered participants can visit their local Sherry FitzGerald office to collect their event t-shirts. A full list of participating locations will be available on the Darkness Into Light website www.darknessintolight.ie.

Darren Chambers, Director at Sherry FitzGerald and long-standing organiser and committee member of the Marlay Park Darkness Into Light event, said: "The level of support across the network last year was fantastic to see. It’s a simple but very powerful event, and one that brings people together for a really important cause. It’s great to see so many of our teams getting involved again this year.”
