With over 20 years of experience working as a Senior Executive in Financial Services and Public Sector roles in Ireland and Scandinavia, Shane is a highly regarded finance professional.
A former Economist with the Irish Government, Global Head of Strategy with Danske Bank (Copenhagen), Head of Mortgages, Head of Premier Banking, and Head of Financial Wellbeing with Bank of Ireland, Shane was appointed Managing Director of Sherry FitzGerald Financial Services in June 2021.
Shane holds a Master's Degree in Economics from UCC, is a Certified Bank Director with the Institute of Banking, a former member of the Irish Mortgage Council and has undertaken a number of Executive Development programmes with IMD, London School of Economics, Irish Management Institute and Harvard Business School.
