Keep Discovering!

Inspiration for Buyers
Inspiration for Buyers

Even our most seasoned vacation at home traveller will continue to be surprised and delighted with all that Ireland has to offer in terms of diversity and entertainment in all shapes and forms. As we are all currently being encouraged to stay at home and support local businesses, it has never been a better time to explore the beautiful island of Ireland!

STARGAZERS

Bordering Wild Nelphin Ballycroy National Park you’ll find Mayo Dark Sky Park, where on a clear night you can see over 4,500 stars as well as planets in the solar system. Head to Cleary’s Hill for an uninterrupted view of the night sky which is free from light pollution!

LAMBAY ISLAND

Lambay Island may be barely three miles off the east coast of Ireland, but it retains an air of inaccessible mystery. When W.B. Yeats visited the island in the 1880’s, he compared his experience to landing on a remote South Seas island for the first time.

PADDLE BOARDING

Enjoy a morning of paddle boarding in Dublin’s Docklands for a spot of adrenaline inducing exercise that’s sure to get those endorphins pumping. You can lie, kneel or stand on a paddle board and propel yourself through the water in whichever mode is more comfortable for you.

SURFING

If life on the ocean wave is more your thing, then a trip to Lahinch strand in Co. Clare has your name on it. With a choice of surfing schools and lessons to cater for all surfers from absolute first-timers to those with a bit more experience you’ll soon be on your way to enjoying a great outdoor sport.

KAYAKING

Kayaking is the use of a kayak to move across water, it is different from canoeing in terms of the sitting position of the paddler and the number of blades of the paddle. Quest Glendalough takes place in one of the most famous monastic sites within the National Park, Glendalough where you can kayak across the spectacular Upper Lake under the mystical shadow of the Glendalough round tower.
