Bannow and Rathangan Show
We’ve recently taken part in the Bannow & Rathangan Agricultural Show which takes place in Killage annually and offers something for all the family.
This year saw the 69th Show take place on 12th July and our office sent staff members Aoife Murphy and Aileen Murphy along for the day to represent Sherry FitzGerald Radford with a trade stand.
Bannow & Rathangan Show is a huge undertaking in the locality and this year drew a crowd of approximately 15,000 people to view its events and trade stands.
Trade stands displaying everything from food to crafts and services were on show with over 300 businesses and organisations present, with our office being one among them.
The show makes a true effort to include the youth of the area with extensive activities and events such as school art & craft stands and the semi-final heats of the All Ireland Home Cook Junior Championships. Equestrian activities are always a strong draw card with a high standard of show jumping, dressage and carriage driving to name a few. Dog trials are also a contender when it comes to crowd attendance, but the highlight of the day is always the Annual Vintage Rally which wraps up the show and proves its popularity year after year.
The Bannow & Rathangan Show is a fantastic day out which showcases the local community spirt and proves to be one of the most significant calendar dates for the year in the South East.
We had a fabulous day this year with Aoife & Aileen meeting a number of past, present and future clients – we can’t wait til next year to do it all again.
