What happens when St Laurence’s Gate closes…
As of Friday 18th August 2017 St Laurences Gate will be closed to traffic….
This will mean that from Friday access to the Chord Road from Laurence Street will now be from Scarlet Street and either Oulsters Lane, Sandyford Terrace or Thomas Street. The traffic on Francis Street will now flow north with access to the Laurence’s Centre car park, William Street, etc being via Francis Street.
The good news is that it will continue to be open for pedestrians and street furniture bollards will be installed.
