To date, the property market appears to have been somewhat insulated from the consumer impact of coronavirus. Viewing levels and transaction volumes are performing well, notably up on last year.
That said, we are not complacent and like every other customer facing business, we are preparing for all eventualities.
This article outlines what measures Sherry FitzGerald O’Meara has taken to adapt to an ever-evolving situation.
The safety of our clients and staff is paramount and we are taking guidance from credible sources such as the HSE, the HPSC and IBEC.
We have taken a number of measures including a full hygiene, sanitisation and education plan implemented across all offices and for all staff.
Through our digital platforms we have many well-established practices already in place assisting our agents to support your property journey, namely;
- Online chat. We have a team of trained online personnel on hand to deal with any queries from 9am – 9pm (Mon – Friday), 10am – 3pm (Sat.).
- mySherryfitz.ie. Our offers & customer messaging platform which facilitates buyers viewing offers and making offers digitally from the comfort of their own home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Mobile & remote working. A full suite of remote working technology infrastructure & equipment has been rolled out to all our agents and support staff which enables us to work from any location at any time.
- Social media platforms. We have very well-established channels with the ability to broadcast messages to wide and narrow groups of people instantly
Our technology allows us to work off one central, shared CRM system which means we can mobilise over 600 people across the network who are equipped, well-resourced and fully trained to assist our clients.
